The Harrison Lady Goblin softball team unloaded.
Harrison crossed the plate 12 times in the first inning and moved on to claim a 15-0 three inning win over Berryville.
Ryleigh Keele was the winning pitcher for Harrison. She finished with six strikeouts. She issued no walks and gave up no hits.
Faith Kelley was the losing pitcher for the Lady Bobcats. She had four strikeouts in the contest.
Harrison’s Kayton Bell, Katie Flemming and Abigail Fancler all scored three times in the first inning as the first 11 batters that came to the plate all scored.
Bell had the big bat in the inning as she sent a ball out of the park to start the game.
Claire Cecil and Lexi Norris each scored in the third inning to increase the lead to 14-0.
Camryn Casey struck out in the fourth inning, but a dropped ball allowed Kaylee Wolfe to score to complete the victory. Wolfe reached third base on a throwing error that allowed her to turn an infield strike into standing on third base.
Fancler and Cecil recorded two hits in the game. Bell, Fleming, Wolfe, Casey, Keele, Norris, and Kennedy Campbell had one hit each. Outside of Bell’s home run, Wolfe and Casey had doubles.
Bell, Fleming, Wolfe, Fancler, Cecil and Norris scored two runs each. Keele, Casey and Campbell scored a single run.
Harrison 6, Mountain Home 2
Harrison had a big fifth inning in downing Mountain Home, 6-2.
The Lady Goblins slowly built a lead and held on to post the win.
Harrison got a run in the third as Norris turned a walk into a run. Keele had a one-out single in the fourth and then moved around the bases to help her own cause and score.
Fleming started the fifth getting hit by a pitch. After an out Casey singled. With two outs in the inning Cecil doubled and then she scored on an error when Keele was at the plate.
The seventh run of the game came after Cecil singled to get on base.
In the bottom of the seventh, Mountain Home started a two-out rally that was ended after they scored two runs.
Keele had 11 strikeouts in the game. She gave up eight hits and walked one in the 26 batters that she faced.
