Farmington’s Lady Cardinals experienced deja vu on Monday night as they met on the pitch for soccer action at F.S. Garrison Stadium against Harrison.
The Lady Goblins took over early lead and ran away with a 6-0 victory. In the senior boys game, Harrison finished in a 2-2 tie with the Cardinals.
Senior Girls
Three Lady Goblins found a pair of scores as Harrison improved to a 4-2-1 record after defeating Farmington, 6-0.
Noelle Pall put the first goal on the board after taking a pass from Elise Bell on a corner kick. The next points were much like the first. Bell fed a corner kick into the heart of the defense and Pall relayed the ball into the net to make it a 2-0 game.
Clare Barger then added the next two goals unassisted and gave the Lady Goblins a 4-0 advantage at intermission.
Jette Kreymann kept the back-to-back streak going with the only two goals of the second half. Bell earned her third assist with Kreymann’s first goal and Liani Cash got the dish with the final score to Kreymann.
Sydney Hobson had a quiet night in the net with one save on one shot.
The Lady Goblins return to action when they visit Mountain Home on Friday.
Senior Boys
Harrison’s Goblins are still looking for that first win of the soccer season. Opposite Farmington, the game ended on Monday knotted at two apiece.
Jayden Rudelis buried the first Harrison goal with an assist from Kale Thomason. Jack Fenn hit the scorebooks with the Goblin’s second goal after a pass from teammate Will Bryant.
Both teams held two points at intermission and defense prevailed in the second half as each team went scoreless.
Grayson Dupre registered 13 saves as the goalie on 15 shots.
The Goblins are 0-4-2 overall with a game at Subiaco Academy on Thursday followed by a Friday night matchup at Mountain Home.
