It is 86 miles from Prairie Grove High School to Harrison High School. That was a long drive Monday night for Lady Tiger fans of Prairie Grove.
Harrison wrapped up its game with the Lady Tigers in 40 minutes on the way to taking a 15-0 win that was shortened to only three innings.
The Lady Goblins continue to remain undefeated in league play.
Ryleigh Keele was the winning pitcher for Harrison. She struck out two batters and gave up a second inning hit.
Harrison plated the majority of its runs in the second inning.
After Camryn Casey scored in the first, Harrison got rolling in the second.
Abigail Fancler started things off with an infield hit. Kaylee Wolfe was laying down a sacrifice bunt, but she arrived safely at first.
With two runners on base, Shelby Eddington was asked to bunt until she got her second strike. Then she pounded a ball into centerfield to record a RBI as Fancler scored.
Things continued to escalate for Harrison. Wolfe and Eddington both scored on passed balls before everyone decided to score in the inning.
Lexi Norris, Kayton Bell, Katelyn Fleming, Casey, and Daizie Riggs each scored.
Claire Cecil scored on a home run by Fancler. The Lady Goblins scored nine runs and had only one out in the second. Back-to-back fly outs ended the frame.
After holding the Lady Tigers scoreless in the third inning, Harrison started an one-out rally.
Bell, Fleming, Casey, Riggs each scored.
With two outs, Wolfe delivered a double that scored Fancler for the 15-0 win.
Harrison will be on the road on Thursday. The Lady Goblins will play at Farmington at 5 p.m.
