ELKINS — It was a profitable day for the Lady Goblins and Junior Lady Goblins cross country teams.

Both squads competed in the Elkins Invitational and came away with wins. The Lady Goblins won the meet by 46 points over Pea Ridge and the Junior Lady Goblins posted a 7-point win over Pea Ridge.

Senior Girls

The Lady Goblins only had five runners on Saturday, but four of those finished in the top five of the meet.

Ruthy Ryan won the 4A/5A division for Harrison with a time of 21:04.09. Camryn Casey was third with a time of 21:37.80; Aidan Smith was fourth in 21:44.28; and Olivia Pall fifth in 22:24.67.

Ellise Bell rounded out the Harrison scoring was a 12th place finish in 23:44.34.

Cecilia Doss of Berryville was seventh overall with a 22:35.67.

Berryville finished fourth in the 4A/5A division with 94 points.

Junior High

Harrison’s Noelle Pall set the pace for the race. She finished in 14:36.58.

She was 8 seconds ahead of Berryville’s Gisselle Estrada. She finished in 14:44.76. There were 76 runners in the race.

Laney Barrett of Harrison was third in 14:58.42 while Regan Harp was eighth, 15:27.11; Madison Trammell, ninth, 15:37.54; and Addie Jones, 10th, 15:45.85.

A group of Harrison runners had a good showing. Vittoria Gratton was 14th in 15:49.70; Rylee Keele, 15th, 15:57.20; Eliana Adamos, 16th, 15:58.83; Kennedi Campbell, 22nd, 16:24.76; Abigail Fancler, 23rd, 16:31.37; Carley Phillips, 27th, 16:47.91; Claire Cecil, 29th, 16:48.07; Chloe Hubbard, 37th, 17:19.56; Mia Barrett, 38th, 17:27.61; Mysteri Cotton, 43rd, 17:51.63; Shelby Eddington, 46th, 18:04.50; Attalie Bardwell, 50th, 18:12.37; Ashlyn Long, 51st, 18:15.01; Lucy Rousseau, 54th, 18:31.98; Kaci Flower, 64th, 19:53.92; and Abigail Henderson, 67th, 20:06.81.

Berryville’s Lucy Reyes was the second Junior Lady Bobcat to close the finish line. She was timed at 16:38.52. She finished 25th overall.

Carley Smith was 28th in 16:47.92; Elizabeth Perez, 39th, 17:37.44; Danaka Thompson, 41st, 17:49.55; Zariel Long, 42nd, 17:51.10; Janaya Smith, 58th, 18:57.52; Alison Nequiz, 59th, 18:58.74; Ekira Hernandez, 66th, 20:00.52; Marissa Richter, 71st, 22:26.35; Pamela Mendez, 73rd, 22:40.29; Liz Ramerez, 74th, 22:53.20; Shyanne Brown, 75th, 24:03.80; Daniela Reyes, 76th, 24:36.98

In the small school race, Bergman finished second in the meet with 112 points. Kingston was third with 120. Haas Hall won the race with 39 points. There were 79 runners in the race.

Breanna Espinoza finished fifth overall in the race with a time of 14:47.90; Jalen Burleson was 11th in 15:11.00; Maddie Holt, 24th, 16:14.10; Emma Jackson, 32nd, 16:47.33; Ruby Trammell, 40th, 17:37.79; Paige Hillenburg, 46th, 17:56.97; Alicia Doyle, 50th, 18:07.57; and Madison Huskey, 68th, 20:08.65.

Leading Kingston was Karli Myers. She finished 13th in 15:15.81. Jaiden Head was 16th in 15:22.75; Layla Rothwell, 26th, 16:19.02; Lila Hartness, 28th, 16:35.96; Rilee Pittman, 37th, 17:21.92; Renee Pittman, 38th, 17:32.35 and Kerri Brizendine, 60th, 18:54.25.

Green Forest did not have enough for a team, but Samantha Delavin led the Junior Lady Tigers. She finished the race in 16:05.40. Michelle Calderon was 42nd in 17:44.86; and Mariana Beltran, 67th, 19:42.43.

In a meet at Shiloh Christian on Sept. 1, Noelle Pall finished first in a time of 14:15. There were 63 runners in the event.

The Harrison squad had five runners finish in the top 10. Harp was third in a time of 14:36.6; Barrett, fourth, 14:45.48; Trammell, sixth, 14:56.34; Myers, eighth, 15:07.48; and Gratton, 10th, 15:16.14.

Harrison had several other girls compete in the race.
