HOT SPRINGS — It was a roller coaster ride for Harrison football fans on Friday night at Hot Springs Lakeside.

The Goblins used a 50-8 run over the last 28 minutes to defeat Lakeside, 56-36.

With the win, Harrison moves to the quarterfinals where they will face Pulaski Academy.

The game will be Friday night in Little Rock.

Harrison came into the game as the 5A-West co-champion. Four teams shared the league title.

It was all Harrison after the Goblins started to play.

The Goblins ended the game on 50-8 run.

Getting the ball to start the second half, Harrison needed only three plays to score.

Gabe Huskey capped the scoring drive with a 4-yard run. After an offside penalty against Lakeside, the Goblins ran a two-point play as Huskey scored to give the Goblins their first lead of the ballgame at 29-28.

Harrison's defense stepped up again as Ditmanson picked off a Lakeside pass.

The Goblins built on their lead as Huskey scored from a yard out.

Lakeside tied the game at 36 with 1:53 left in the third period.

It was all Harrison after that.

Ditmanson scored on a 1-yard run.

The Goblins forced the Rams to punt again.

Harrison had a replay of the previous score with Ditmanson scoring from the 1.

Mason Martin picked off a Lakeside pass, and four plays later, he scored on a 4- yard run to set the final score.

Holtby was 3-of-4 on point after attempts in the second half.

Things started shaky for Harrison.

Lakeside scored on its first possession. On the ensuing kickoff, the Goblins fumbled giving the Rams another chance.

The squad wasted only two attempts before scoring from 31 yards out.

The score stayed at 14-0 at the end of the first. However, Lakeside scored early in the second period to take a 21-0 lead.

It took the Goblins 15 plays to score for the first time in the game.

Gabe Huskey took the ball over the end zone with 4:39 left in the half.

Lakeside hit a long pass only 25 seconds later to move ahead 21-6.

The Goblins got busy in the final 4 minutes.

Harrison scored on a 5-play drive that was capped by a Ditmanson 10-yard run.

The Goblin defense stepped up and stopped the Rams, giving the Harrison offense one last chance before halftime.

Ditmanson hit Caleb Huskey with 1 second left for a touchdown.

Hunter Holtby made it 28-21 with the points after attempt.

Harrison scored on a two-point attempt after the second touchdown. The ball was snapped to Gabe Huskey. He handed the ball off to backup quarterback Ben Johnson. Johnson passed the ball to Ditmanson.
