STATE CHAMPIONS AGAIN!!!

The Harrison Lady Goblins defeated Maumelle 3-1 to win their second consecutive 5A State Championship Friday at Razorback Field in Fayetteville.

Harrison struck first on a Kaleigh Harris goal at the 38:21 mark then followed that up when Claire Doshier booted in Brylie Parker's corner kick at 14:22.

Maumelle would add a goal to make it 2-1 but Parker added a goal with 9:01 left in the first half to give Harrison a 3-1 halftime lead.

The 2nd half did not have any scoring but was delayed for lightning with 22:05 left in the match. Play was delayed for 1 hour and 4 minutes before the match concluded with Harrison winning 3-1.

Brylie Parker was named the MVP of the State Championship Match as the Lady Goblins finish the year 15-7-1.
