The Harrison Lady Goblins throttled Hollister, Mo. on Thursday at Cavender’s Field.

Harrison put 11 runs on the board in the an 11-2 beating of the visiting team from Missouri.

Neither team scored through the first three innings of play.
Hollister hit the board first with two runs in the top of the fourth inning.

The Lady Goblins responded with five runs in the home half of the frame.

Claire Curtis started things off with a single for Harrison. A triple from Caroline Cecil brought Curtis around to score the first run of the inning.

Laura Henderson singled home Cecil and Laykn Thomas delivered an RBI single to score Henderson.

Sam Fancler connected with a double to plate Thomas before a double from Marion Groberg scored Fancler for a 5-2 lead.

Harrison added another two runs to its score in the fifth inning.

Cecil reached on a bunt single before a double from Lane Horn brought her around to score.

Thomas would double to bring home Horn as the Lady Goblin lead sat at 8-2.

Harrison would get back to work in the sixth inning with four runs.

Fancler, Groberg, Rachel Brownfield and Curtis each scored to set the final tally at 11-2.

Cecil picked up two hits in the ballgame for the Lady Goblins. Thomas, Fancler, Groberg, Collette Lavoi, Curtis, Henderson and Horn added one apiece.

Fancler, Curtis and Cecils cored two runs each. Groberg, Brownfield, Henderson and Horn added one apiece.
Thomas collected two RBI while Fancler, Groberg, Brownfield, Curtis, Tailer Manen, Henderson and Horn added one each.

Lavoi earned the win as she pitched all seven innings for Harrison. She allowed two earned runs on eight hits while striking out nine and walking one.
