Harrison didn’t give the home fans any close games on Friday night.

With Clarksville in town, the Harrison Lady Goblins thumped their opponents, 49-25, while the Goblins clobbered their conference foes, 73-51.

The Harrison Lady Goblins pulled away in the second quarter on their way to a 49-25 win.

Harrison held a 14-10 lead through one quarter of play, but turned that 4-point lead into a 13-point lead at the half.

The Lady Goblins scored the first eight points of the period to create a double-digit advantage.

Brylie Parker started the scoring with a 3-pointer in which she was fouled. The sophomore sank her foul shot to convert the rare four-point play.

Briley Due then added a free throw and Mckenzie Glenn took a pass from Parker and finished at the basket as Harrison held it’s first double-digit lead of the night at 21-10.

Glenn then recorded a steal just seconds later and was fouled on a layup attempt. The senior hit one foul shots to put the score at 22-10.

Clarksville’s only points of the period came on a 3-point attempt resulting in a foul.

The Lady Panthers hit two-of-3 foul shots to make it a 22-12 ballgame.

Harrison then got a basket from Claire Doshier before Alicia Auman hit one free throw to set the halftime score at 25-12.

Maddie Wyatt took a pass form Glenn and scored on a layup to open the third quarter for Harrison.

Following a Clarksville basket, the Lady Goblins scored the next six points.

Parker scored two baskets with Auman added a third to stretch the Harrison lead to 33-14.

Due would score on the left block and later add two charity shots to put the Harrison lead over 20 points for the first time in the game at 37-16 with 2:22 to play in the third.

At the close of the period, Harrison’s lead sat at 39-20.

Clarksville would score just five points in the fourth as Harrison closed out the win.

Parker led Harrison with 17 points in the game. Auman added 11, Due nine, Glenn five, Doshier three and Wyatt and Tyona Whitehorse two apiece.
