There’s been nothing but zero’s lit up for the opponents score this season when the Harrison Junior Goblins have met the Mountain Home Junior Bombers on the football field.

The Junior Goblins crushed Mountain Home, 41-0, on Thursday night as they have now shutout the Junior Bombers twice this season.

Through three games on the season, Harrison has allowed just eight points.
Ben Johnson led the offensive charge for Harrison completing 5-of-8 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown.

Gabe Huskey hauled in two passes for 50 yards and a touchdown. Colton Shaver added two catches for 30 yards and Rilee Jones one catch for 12 yards.

Huskey added 92 yards rushing on four carries while finding the endzone twice.

Brooks Both broke off one run for a 47-yard score while Collin Ballard added 42 yards and a touchdown on four carries and Johnson, 17 yards on two carries.

Both led the defense with eight tackles in the game. Carson Wright added seven, Jones and Shaver six apiece, Ballard and Carson Flippo five each, Cole Keylon and Eric Walker four apiece, Logan King, Trey Stith and Trenton Smith three each, Max Payne two and Huskey one.

Seabastian Diffey had one kick off return for 23 yards for Harrison.

“I thought we played well,” said Harrison head coach Greg Crow. “Our defense definitely had their best game of the year.

I’m pleased with our energy and passion that we played with. We have so many things we can and need to do better, but they are things we can fix.”

Harrison will next meet Fort Smith Kimmons on the road to open River Valley conference play for the season.

“We start River Valley conference play this week,” Crow stated. “We are going to have to be razor sharp the next seven weeks to have a chance to compete.”
